So I was going through some mail today and I find out that I owe $600+ for a lab exam I never went to.

Should I be worried?

yes, definitely do some sort of follow-up on that. make sure the mail is legit first though

For sure. The letter is definitely legit. It's from Blue Cross.

Bigger picture of your girl in a bra like demonstrated on your avy.

and um yea identity theft all that.

Be worried. You should check your bank account(s) and your credit card account(s) while your at it. Happened to me last summer, but I got the money back.

Don't mean to threadjack, but I have a magazine subscription that I never signed up for. Once in a while they send me bills, should I be worried?

Call the local/federal authorities and the credit bureaus. Call the Blue Cross as soon as possible also.

Start by checking your account(s) to make sure nothing else is missing since you can do that now, then basically do what Korean Dave said.

Relax my man, could be a simple mistake and fix. Doesn't necessarily mean you are a victim of identity theft. For example, it could be a transposed numberresulting in you being charged.

1. Call and investigate with BCBS.
2. Get a copy of you credit report and review it to make sure you are in fact, not a victim.

Good Luck.
