Are you asking what specific year is well representative of the 2000s (2000-2010)? Bears won the Superbowl in 1986 and OJ in '94.

If so, I'd say either '06 or '08 because of the economy issues.

one journalist (I think) had tried to call this decade "the uni's" but it didn't look like it was going to stick. Most likely it'll justbe referred to as the first decade of the 2000's or just by specific year or "between 2000 and 2009"
