Phil Collins made some of the greatest pop/soul songs of the 80's. Did the british pop thing better than the brits themselves. Voice, keys, songwriting. An icon in my book.

Lyor Cohen personally called Phil to get the sample for DMX cleared...

Told him he was gonna make him a million if he cleared it...
