If you took out all the water animals from the ocean, would the water level decrease?

I think it would remain the same. The absence of aquatic respiration which lower the water level (converting water to oxygen via gills) and positive displacement (caused by taking the animals out of the ocean which raises the water level) and cancel each other out.

course the water levels gon drop. I mean look if you take out all the animals in the ocean thats a lot of volume theyd be takin up thats gone so the waters droppin and nobody convertin no water to oxygen, the oxygen been in the water my man. Its H2O son

of course it would,
mass = anything that takes up space
all the aquatic animals in the world = some gigantic mass, pause
water = has mass
water mass + animal mass = lots of mass
take out the animal mass = less mess

When i first read the topic i thought of volume = mass/density. and with the ocean waters density just being a constant, the more mass you add, the volume increases. So i assumed taking out all the combined mass of every creature in the ocean would significantly lower the volume of the ocean. I get the points you made, though. Maybe this simple formula doesnt apply here

Man made waste in the ocean accounts for something ******ED like 100x the amount by volume of animals. SMH
