I'm about to purchase a TV should I buy the extended Warranty ??????

Hello NT,

I'm about to purchase a TV from Newegg.com and the TV already comes with a 1 year extended warranty. One of my friends told me I don't have to purchase the extended warranty because if I pay with my Visa card and I register my TV with Visa they'll add a 1 year warranty on top of the manufacturers 1 year  warranty.
