I'm about to snap

I would move out if it's economically feasible for you. Uncle's place would be a realistic option.

As hard as it is, let your mother live her life and remove yourself from a potentially volcanic and disastrous situation.

You're almost done with college and mentioned being upset if this man ruins your life somehow, but allowing negative thoughts and incidents in the house to grow and build up in your mind will only make you more angry and resentful. You also mentioned the thought or possibility if physically harming your mother's new husband. Lose-lose situation. Either you destroy your relationship with your mom to some agree, or you cause physical damage to him and end up jeopardizing your future anyway. Could be both.

Thing is I'm broke as hell. I pay for everythin of mine. Phone bill, groceries, clothes if I need, college books etc

So moving out on my own wouldn't be a good idea

Snuff dude.
Make it look like a drug deal gone wrong. Then go live with ya unc.
Ya welcome op

Is it possible to move in with a family member? Removing yourself from a potentially volcanic situation is for the best, at least short-term.

My uncle(moms side) or grandparents (dads side)

Gonna call my uncle tonight before he goes to work. Spoke to my other grandma she said its cool if I stay there

I would get my own room too!

Sounds like the best plan, man. You're being proactive about the situation. It's okay to escape from potentially damaging situations. You have your own life to live. Your mother knows how you feel and is making her own decisions, for better or worse, like any grown woman (or man) should. Don't let your mother's new husband steal your happiness. Best of luck.

He uses your beanies?!

No no no. My hats only get worn by me. Dudes be talmbout "can i try on your hat?".

I wash them and put them away

He doesn't even ask that's the thing. The ones he wore are the ones I wear to work so I don't care as much. He wore one of my good beanies. Came back it smelled like smoke. Sprayed it with febreeze. Anytime he wears my slippers(I have 3 pairs) I wash them. When I'm not wearing the other 2 I hide them. I shouldn't have to hide **** in my own house

There's been some clown *** responses in here :rollin

I didn't mention how dude uses some of my hats (beanies but still) and calls me his son :rollin

If I had a beanie out in the living room he would use it. Slippers, brushes, and I'm a hygienic guy I don't want anyone using my stuff even my own family. That **** pisses me off too

:lol

the disrespect, lmao

i cannot support all the snitching that's being promoted in this thread though

especially over weed :rolleyes

OP, start putting itchin powder in your beanies and slippers :lol I bet he'll stop wearing them.

This would be such a sucker move

I hope you posted this for the lulz man

I'm of the opinion OP is actually handling the situation properly. Although he's internalizing some frustration and displeasure, he has seemingly communicated his feelings to his mother. The more important figure in this situation, in whom he has the closest relationship with. Her new husband is somewhat of a stranger and the close age gap could make a serious conversation awkward.

It's his mother's home after all (I assume). She's a grown woman, it's up to her who she loves or marries. Lives with, etc. Of course she should factor in her son's opinion. But without actually being part of the relationship (marriage), we don't know all the details. The one thing I would recommend is speaking firmly to your mother's husband about using your stuff (slippers, beanies). That's inappropriate. If he wants, at least ask first. Not just take.
