Important Blackberry Question

I entered my password 5 times in an attempt to unlock it but each time it said that it was unsuccessful which is wrong because I entered the right password. Following that it said to enter blackberry. This has never happened before and I don't know if I'm facing a hack attempt or something else. Can someone please tell me what is going on?

Depending on your settings, there's a limit to the amount of password attempts. If you hit that # it erases all your info

Just solved the problem.

It wasn't case sensitive. After entering Blackberry it showed me what I did wrong which was nothing.

Iphone > Blackberry

probably had num or caps on. After a couple tries it'll make you type blackberry in and after that you can see what your typing.

Yep and I'm with Sprint, I was trying to get an iPhone with at&t but they said a $750 deposit. No thanks
