Pretty sure I lost my iTouch

I tried getting into my email today and I coudnt, can someone change the password of my email through an iTouch? I changed it now, I had a password reset sent to my alt. email. But anyways, my Yahoo email is synced to my iTouch, is there any way I can un-sync it?

Just change the pw and your good. It won't be able to login cause it has the old pw stored. And it's an iPod touch.

So the touch wont pickup or recognize the new password? 
Good news. Anything else I should be aware of? Only thing I could think of was the email issue.
