In which grade did your peers begin engaging in adult activities?

I started hearing murmurs of smoking and drinking in 7th grade. If you weren't smashing in 8th grade you were probably getting clowned by the older dudes... who were way too old to be in that grade anyway.

I smashed the first time in 9th grade (98 ) which is waaaaaay too early. I would've experimented with alcohol definitely and maybe weed if my mom wasn't a drug abuse counselor and always preached against it.

Never was into drinking or smoking at an early age, but did lose my vCard when I was 13 She was 19 and I tried to act like I knew what I was doing but I sure didn’t Once in a while I’ll think back like damn I wasted that poosay

Kids were talking about drinking and doing drugs in 6th grade

I didn't smoke until high school which was only a handful of times (just made me sleepy). Never drank.

Still never been drunk.

Didn’t really drink until like 9th-10th grade but smashed in 8th and had a kid by the end of my 9th grade year at 15. Didn’t think it would ever happen to me but sure enough did.

Didn't try smoking cigs and messing around with the females till HS. I started drinking alcohol in 9th grade.

One thing I am proud of is never smoking weed. Surprised I haven't either.

Looking back, I should have went all in with the girl I was talking to my sophomore year. But she was crazy for this fat dude who played baseball with me. Smh.

Dropped acid in 7th grade. The jump from elementary to jr. high was swift. Kids were doing shrooms in the bathroom. Police came because these Green Day/Nirvana type chicks were throwing up. Dude who lived around the corner from me got expelled for selling it to them that morning. Bud was just as accessible as bubble gum. The very first week of jr. high, on a Friday after school, I saw a drunk girl from 8th grade get a train ran on her at a kickback by some high school guys. Lawlessness! I don't know how or why my parents didn't know where I was and what I was doing. If I ever become a parent I'm gonna be on my kids butts. Jr. high kids look like babies to me. They don't need no kinda freedom.

And this was white suburbia. A district parents move to just so they can send their kids to the best public schools.

Got drunk and had sex the same summer. 7th grade summer. 8th grade I’m came back to school a man . Quit the hoop team, threw away all my wrestling action figures and thought I was grown as hell. Ran my first train the next summer and got high for the 1st time right before high school. Didn’t fap until high school tho, I always thought ****** got talked about for that and I was in my follower stage back then.

From my experience of growing up and being around schools and people who work in them I’d say it gets “real” at about 6th grade/11 years old.

Granted there are those that have wild things going on around them from much younger but I’m not sure how well they’re able to conceptualize those things at super young ages.

Additionally that transition into middle school can be eye opening.

Been exposed to things around the way since middle school but after 9th grade was when majority of my friends started smoking and drinking. I didn't do either but I live vicariously through them lol

Kids would smoke trees during lunch and after school so of course the young entrepreneur in me went and bought some and started chipping. Didn't actually try it til highschool.

Lost my v at 13. Chicks a year older than me, unbeknownst to us guys, had some kind of **** sucking contest going on. Needless to say we were beneficiaries of said contest. Shouts to them. Couple of em are strippers and escorts now, guess all that practice paid off.

It was around the 7th grade where kids were talking about smoking and getting some ***. I felt like I was the only kid doing neither and it was because I was just so damn nerdy. I was the nerdy kid with all the cool friends that had new experiences every weekend at the lunch table. Was still to myself obsessing over video games and sneakers. Didn’t lose my virginity until I was 17. Didn’t smoke my first blunt or actually drink enough alcohol to get drunk until I was 18 during my freshman year of college. Now I’m slightly addicted to sex and smoke about an Oz a week. Good ol delayed puberty.

It was 8th grade. I had gone to military school for 7th grade. And came back for 8th grade. Everyone had started smoking weed and drinking. Don't know what the hell happened while I was gone.

Well I grew up in Lakeview in SF and back in the 90s there were dudes from the hood selling crack as early as 9-11 year olds. A lot of the dudes I knew that sold crack early all had their first P at like 12 years old from some smoker chick they were serving. I didn't get my first P until 17 and was later than a lot of dudes although I do know dudes that are still Virgins in their 30s right now
