Insecurities Thread

And shave your head bro. Accept it and get used to how you are gonna look.

Nah but, I'm gonna keep hang on for dear life. I'm gonna find some type of rejuvenation technique.

Thus the delusion begins. I will say though i overreacted to my thinning and was rocking a buzz for the longest. Back to the wave game but it got me used to it, and the response from women was positive.

Women love that confidence :hat

But yeah people with jacked up hairlines make me mad nervous :lol.

Like - them cats that still go to the barber and sit in the chair like they just one of the guys :x

Barbers always be talking about them as soon as they leave too. :lol

I agree. Sex complicates your life pretty much all of the time.

And is extremely overrated in the sense of what people are potentially willing to lose/risk just for that moment.

Most people will not admit it but it is the truth. I don't know how a person would know it without experiencing it though.

Behind most downfalls alcohol and sex are usually somewhere close :lol

This. Dude literally put their lives and careers on the line for sex like its some hot commodity :lol. I learned my lesson about that years ago fam. I'd rather have one chick I can build a life with than spend time and money chasing broads but each his own.

Your hair just started growing back?

It never really stopped growing. It is receded a bit, not quite the toilet bowl but fine for someone in their 30s. I just bugged out too soon.

wow.

my beard and mustache refuse to connect.

the whole thing looks looks pretty full if I brush it in a carefully devised pattern, but then some guy with a thick, lush coat of facial fur will somehow appear almost every time and that quarter-inch strip of nearly bare skin that I know lurks just outside the 3-point line of my goatee will feel so obvious that I can sometimes see actual light coming from it.

I'm 29 now and I'm scared it may never happen for me.

I'm an officer in the military. I'm not very timid but I wish my personality were more authoritative, having a "command presence" as some would say. I've never been the type to walk into the room and take control. I can read bruh, calm down

. I can't read as fast as I'd like. I can read at about 300 wpm which is in the acceptable range for college educated adults. I remember taking the LSAT (when I was considering law school) and barely finishing the reading comprehension sections. I don't read, comprehend, analyze and retain as well as I'd like to. Sometimes I read things and if asked a question 10 minutes later I couldn't give you an answer. I end up reading this over and over just to properly comprehend things.
Yo I'm the same way, I'll have to read something 10x's just to get it all, and have that visual image in my head. Specially working on aircraft engines, lol I'm reading it 10-20x's and measuring it 4-5x's just to make sure im reading it right before install sometimes.

I'm losing my hair too and my beard is not growing fast enough. Barber barely touching my corner edges now. :{

I've accepted the Kobe transition tho. I had the notty fro for about 2 years...but the last 7 months ive been getting the very very close Cesar. So it won't make it look so bad or tramatic to people around me when i finally decide to "come home."

I feel a certain embarrassment about my women from the past seeing me bald. Damn I sound mad insecure after reading that again. :lol
