Installing New Car Stereo

So, I've been driving my dad's

since my car was in the shop.
There's an AUX input already in my dad's mazda so I finally found out that AUX>>>FM transmitters. So clear/loud/perfect.

The repairs are done so I gotta go back to my

I want to install an AUX input or something that will get my AUX quality into my 2000 Ford Escort.
A NTer recommended me getting this

But I have no idea how to install that.

I'm thinking that I should cop a deck that has an aux input.
I need a good one that lasts and that is compatible to my car and can play from iPhone effortlessly.

Would be better getting a new deck with AUX, most are coming with usb now which works best with ipods.

Anyone know how to install these? I have a 93 Honda accord and for whatever reason havethe urge to want to do this myself. I'm sure I could figures out how put it in but I have no cue how to tale the radio already in out without messing up the whole thing.
