Is there better sites than the typical Kayak, Hotwire, Expedia, etc. for international flights?

I'm flying to Dubai probably in July, so I'm looking for the cheapest flight sites to check out.

KAYAK is a site that congregates every single travel site in one place.. i would say it's the best one. 
you can also try: JetSetter.com .. its Gilt.com's travel spinoff site. i've seen some awesome quickstrike deals on there.

If you go for a cheaper flight site just watch out.
Sometimes they are unreliable and sort of risky.

I had a friend buy a ticket off a cheaper flight site, and the day of his flight they told him he had no seat.
I don't even think he got his full money back.
