my advice: u better be white or else they won't hire.
i would wear walmart clothing before abercrombie *%@%. i won't be caught dead wearing that junk.

Why does everyone say that you have to be white? There are black that work at abercrombie ( though not hood ones). I don't go their very often and never pay retail, but not everybody is white. I've seen asian chicks as well, which is weird because their history towards them. You should be more concerned about being the right body size.

I worked at American Eagle (sucked) and had an interview with Abercrombie and Fitch before I got hired there. They'll ask you dumb questions like describing your personal style, what are 3 words that can describe yourself, 3 words to describe the style of Abercrombie...just don't use the words preppy or popular cuz you automatically will not get hired. It's going to be a group interview too I'm sure, which are always pretty awkard. This chick that worked at Abercrombie that would try to talk to me whenever I came in there got me an interview like the next day that I asked her if they were hiring...even filled out most my app for me. I was in a group interview with a "feminine guy", this weird fat chick and a black kid that wore an Aeropostale t-shirt to the interview and I didn't get the job. I was a couple minutes late for the interview though and I was sweating at first cuz I wore khaki's and a button up shirt when it was 90 degrees out so maybe that had something to do with it.

I used to work at Hollister. Not everyone was white. I will say, you have to be tall-!$* to be a model, though. At least 5'10 for a guy. Um, so long as your not a moron, you will get hired. They hire a ton of people, since the kids only work a few hours a week. It was an ok job for a while. I was hired as Impact (which is stock), but they just kept me on the floor all the time. So I did both jobs.
Oh yeah, stop me if you've heard this one: So one guy stumbles into another message board, finds a particular word cute, starts using it here because he thinks there's some loophole he can exploit, but ends up banned. A tale of hubris, if there ever was one.
