I currently use Invisalign. On my 7th trey and they're working good.
And like others who've used them said, they're painful for the first few days of wearing them. Afterwords, they're absolutely fine.

i just finished after like a year with them and really cant complain. if you want good teeth but dont want to deal with braces its deff the move
and if u take some advil before you put in a new tray it doesnt bother you in the morning.

I used to have braces but never finished treatment. I just kind of stopped going. I was supposed to show up for a retainer but never got it. Huge mistake. My teeth aren't horrible now but they are slightly gapped and I've been looking into invisalign too. Some place in NY said they could do it for 5 grand but I'm going to to look around again now that I'm upstate. I really don't have that kind of money but maybe my school dental plan can help.

yeah, what insurance covered it? most insurance won't cover braces/invisalign since its consider cosmetic

My dental insurance through my job covers it. It's called Mass Delta Dental PPO (I live in Massachusetts). I had the choice of choosing between a basic dental plan (only covering cleanings) or a major dental plan (covering cleanings and cosmetic work) through my job, and I chose the major dental plan because it's crazy cheap and I knew I wanted to get Invisalign.
Sucks that you guys have insurance companies that won't cover it. Luckily, my job offers great insurance plans to employees!

9g's is a grip! Mine came in at around 5. For my situation braces and invisalign would have take about the same time and the braces would have cost like $1,000 more.
For those thinking about getting them they are awesome, just make sure you keep the trays clean! I started out just cleaning them once a day not everytime I brushed. Let's just say my mouth was KICKIN, thankfully somebody told me what was up and I got that corrected.

Ok been waiting to post in here be never remember when im at a computer...
I been doing invisalign for almost a year now and the improvement that it has made to my teeth has been great.
My "I" teeth were super high and had to come down with braces before i started the Invisalign but once they came down the invisalign was able to rotate teeth that needed rotating and it closed gaps that needed to be closed.
My 2 front teeth had a pretty big gap after the braces because they actually made the gap larger because the point of them was just to get the teeth down so I could start the invisalign.
Most people dont even realize you have the tray in and it does mess up your language a little bit in the beginning because it can restrict the way you use your tongue and teeth to form certain sounds and words but after a while you get used to it and it stops being an issue.
The pain when you put a new tray in only last for a couple of hours, its really not that bad. You would have to have a really low pain tolerance to make it not worth it for you... Braces were worse IMO.
I qualified for the "express" and its costing me close to $5k from start to finish... I only have 6 more weeks until im completely finished and really i could be done right now... Im very happy with the results so far and its well worth it, my smile with my high I teeth was something I used to be really embarrassed of because I didnt get braces when I should have when I was younger.
Im 24 now going on 25 and I am sooooo glad I went and got this done and didnt put it off any longer.
MAKE SURE you dont forget them when you go to sleep or youre gonna be hurting in the morning when you shove them in and they dont fit like theyre supposed to.

worddd.... i live in MA and thats my insurance...... thats whats up.... now im gonna go try to get this invisalign thing....... my teeth isnt bad like that... but i got spaces in between my teeth.. well i guess it is that bad... but where did u go to get it done?
