IPHONE SYNCING

my comp crashed with my itunes, it's restored now, but i want to know if it'd be a better idea to just get an external hard drive and save all my music to it and have my iphone sync to that library and is this even possible?

I don't think that's possible since the external hard drive would only be holding the music not an iTunes library.

You can't sync with an external hard drive.

You can set up the external hard drive to have iTunes and stuff on it.
