iPod Touch glitches?

Just got an iPod touch about 2 weeks ago, and my playcounts on it just jump to random ridiculous numbers all the time

Saying I listened to a song 130 times in a 2 hour period. I know this doesn't deserve its own thread but curious if anyone else has experienced this as well.

It only happens sometimes.

It seems almost like it has something to do with last.fm being on my computer. When last.fm shows that songs have been played since the last time I synced my ipod it goes all crazy.
