Ipod touch Help?

Can someone tell me how do I know which version I have?? I think its 2nd generation but not 100%sure

I know it doesn't have camera and face time!

I tried looking up the # on back of ipod and its coming up as 3rd gen!!


can someone verify this for me

type the serial number in itunes? if its 64 gb, its for sure a 3rd. does it matter tho, they are the same.

You're sure it's not the headphones? I've had that issue multiple times and it's always been a faulty connection in the headphones.
