any iron workers here???. im really thinking bout doing this as a profession.

im getting tired of school and i rather work ina a trade. on somthing hand on.

i know someone whos in NY working on th freedom tower getting paid 45 and hr. 4k checks every week...

starting of is like 30+ i beleive.

any body wanna input about this or give advice?
 
I do.. im a foreman for a steel company. steel reinforcer. Only make 22/hr though.


Im not trying to do this forever though so im back in school.
 
my boi says he works with the union!!!!....i have no idea what that is but hes like 23 getting paid 45 an hr.

do ironmen get paid that much??
 
Well.. aslong as you have to go to school for it and its in demand, why not?

yo, ive been working all my life construction since i was bout 16 yrs old...everyday im outside winter or summer.

im already use to this, i feel that if i get a job where i have my own desk and office , i will be madd bored and get tired of it... i like seeing didfferentthings everyday. but yea

idk i think ima give it a try.. gotta take risk sometime.

like jayz said "im not afraid of drying , im afraid of not trying"

True. Working in weather hot/cold will make you hate life at times.
 
not if you been working outside all your life..you get use to it.. trust me.

just like people get use to being bored at work in there cubical doing nothin.. i rather see something different everyday. plus im a hands on guy
