Name another 6'9 point guard to run the position the way he did ? Who brought style and excitement to the game with not having to be a scoring dominant player or a player who didn't have to do the flashy high light reel dunks.

I will say that Rose is the most exciting player since the days of prime AI, VC, and T-Mac. I think he's been more entertaining than LeBron, given Rose's size, handles, and athleticism. I said this in the All-Star game thread a few months ago but this generation of LeBron, Wade, Carmelo doesn't really do it for me compared to the old superstars of the early 00s. Sure they can dunk and are athletic but it's just not as nice to me. Seems like they get by too much on their physical gifts.

he's not the most exciting player now...? then who is?

rose is the most exciting player playing at this moment. he has been pretty  much unguardable the whole year, and drives at will. He adds a lot of finesse, and flair to his game which translates to his lay-ups being better than most people's dunks. Add his crossover, power and speed, and he is the best show in the nba.
