Is it me or do the countdowns just look different from the regular retros

yea. they put as little money into production as possible. the problem is, $310 is a lot of money, but when you think about it they're selling the kicksfor the same price per shoe as the other recent retros, so they tried to figure out a new way to make more money out of the deal cuz if they raise the pricethey lose sales.

the quality is RIDICULOUSLY terrible, to the point of variant-*#!-ness

i think threads like these are valuable, they serve as periodic reminders that we shouldn't squander our hard-earned money on this crap. as fans we'reof course tempted to purchase these og colorways, but reading people's experiences and opinions really has an effect on me, and surely many other peoplewho are on the edge between buying and not buying. i think i may just wait for the 11/12 pack, pass on everything else.
