also Bron is not really defying the aging curb athletically...he is clearly slower, and doesn't jump as high...so I don't understand why some are so sure he's using steroids.
I don't know about clearly.
His head was just on the rim at the all star game.
When I think of somebody clearly slowing down I think of how Kobe's game became more grounded at into his 30's. Lebron is still jumping out the gym and blowing past 20 something year olds.
Anabolic steroids? nah.
other stuff that could enhance your performance? maybe. but unlikely.

Dismissing steroids usage by any athlete is absurd.
Especially from people who believe steroids don’t benefit basketball players ...![]()
Lebrons not out here lookin like Karl Malone who imo was def on that gas. he's grown pretty steadily over time.
it just seems like a giant unecessary risk for not enough gain given the increased risk of tendon damage than comes with anabolic steroids.
Where did you go to med school?Risk? Do you know much about steroids?
Maybe you’re thinking about ABUSING steroids without proper guidance and science. People take steroids properly and prosper physically. Used properly, usage actually lengthens careers.
And being “jacked” isn’t the end all be all for steroid users.
Hugh jumpers, long jumpers, sprinters, cyclists aren’t jacked but are common users.
The end look is the result of how a user trains. If the user is about moderate weights, isometric movements, running and jumping they will keep an aesthetic streamlined look.
The ability to “spot” a steroid user is the biggest misconception in sports.

and for a sport like basketball where you play 82 games, and durability is one of the biggest concerns, I think it makes doing anabolic steroids specifically a different risk calculation than doing it for Track and Feild, Football ect. it's not that it won't help, its just are the risks worth the potential draw backs in a non timed, heavily skill based sport, that you gotta play 82 games?Anabolic steroid use paralleled with exercise may lead to dysplasia of collagen fibrils, which can decrease the tensile strength of tendon.
