We know the boy got speed but he's quickly becoming Big Ben's favorite target taking over for Hines Ward. I think he could "breakout" in the playoffs along with Garcon from Indy.
Third-round pick

YES. Speed receiver that is never scared to go across the middle. I love/hate Mike Wallace.

Yes he is underrated mainly because of the media's love for Hines Ward. Once Hines Ward hits that old man Jerry Rice wall, Wallace will be more recognized

perfect compliment to hines imo....hines is the reliable possession guy and then wallace has become pitt's big play guy. i think he's been solid.

He literally made Steelers fans forgot that Santonio was given away. Great WR

he's not underrated, people have known he was a burner since the combine. he had a solid attitude through the very first training camp and tomlin has liked him since then. he beat out limas sweed for the #3 wr spot in 09 and its been an uphill ride ever since . his stats are solid but not superstar like yet, that fact combined with the media presence of ward has made him fly under the radar.

I was really skeptical of him as a #1 WR because of his size, but he's proven himself as a possession receiver and not just a deep threat this year.

Steelers' scouting > *, save for maybe the Pats.

They let All Pros walk year after year, rarely ever make a splash in free agency, and yet they're almost always competitive due to the next guy on the depth chart stepping up.

Just curious as to what his size has to do with him being a #1 WR....I see no problems w. guys like Roddy White, Reggie Wayne, Greg Jennings, etc...size-wise, Wallace is comparable to them.
