The seats for a concert or show is so bad that it isn't even worth going anymore. I was looking to get tickets for Watch The Throne at the Verizon Center, and every seat in a every price bracket are in the super nosebleeds. I've been told by friends and family that have been to that venue that you can't see a damn thing in those seats, which I feel defeats the purpose of even going to a live show. I'm sure the people in way back will still be vibing in what not, but I feel like it'd be a waste of money, especially for such an epic show.

Yes to a certain extent. Honestly nothing is going to keep me from going to Watch The Throne, I was so lucky to get floor seats as close as I did, I would have bought nose bleeds if I had to.
For sporting events like a regular season game, I only go if the seats are decent or good. NBA Finals, once again, nothing would keep me from going, but all the tickets were sold out in 10 minutes

or else i would have settled for nosebleeds.

Depends on the show. A once in a lifetime concert or performance, I wouldn't care if I had a great seat because at least I was there.

If the Watch the Throne concert is like that to you, then go for it.

I saw Kanye's Glow in the Dark Tour at a crappy venue and had seats in the furthest sections and I still had a great time, then again, it didn't cost that much.

As long as I'm in front of the stage I don't really care too much, but it could be annoying at times (particularly when you're too high to walk down all those stairs).

Why do it? Because at least they can say there - even if they couldnt see %#$@ ..

It wouldn't even be a question if it was small venue. I saw Jay-Z at the Warner Theater in DC, and was pretty far back, but still was able to see everything perfectly, without the use of binoculars. The Verizon Center is a whole different story though. I was told that I'd still be able to see it on the jumbotron, but I think we all know, it just ain't the same.

But it is an epic concert, those two may never tour again (god forbid).  I think I'll just have to bite the bullet on this one, and cop. Who knows maybe, I'll be able to ease my way through the show and end up some where decent. Or a fellow NTer could sell me a spare floor seat ticket...

I think it's worth the experience, The vibe and atmosphere is all the same no matter where you sit

I used to work at the Verizon Center in the suite level handling executive seats and ticketing and there really isn't a bad seat in the Verizon Center.  I have sat everywhere from front row, club seats, suites, all the way up the 400 level seats and it was cool.

Plus for a show like the WTT tour....just being there with the energy and experience is worth it.  I say do it...what else do you really have to lose.  The experience > the $$$.

I was actually just looking at tickets for Watch The Throne. I hate to say it but I have to check them out when they come to my area another time. Every seat is on the side and it's just not worth a $100.
