I think it's the economy and like others have said, now it's all about the green and golf.

For the most part, theyre exactly the same.

People always complain about quality - the shoes always perform excellently on the basketball court. Thats most important to me.

I think anytime a company develops a reputation they can sit back on, they do just that. Mercedes-Benz is afflicted with the same issues right now, MB productsin the mid-90s were stellar, their reputation was untouchable and people bought them left and right. Any Benz built from 2000 on is a shell of those oldercars, of course the economic tie-in isn't hard to see either. I think the main issue is just that a corporation's first responsibility is to theirshareholders, who couldn't care less about the quality of the product, as long as their wallets are getting fatter.
