Is wearing makeup cheating?

I had this old girlfriend who when we first started going out go into a random conversation about that scale you get rated on. Not something I would normally talk about with a girl I'm out on a date with but she brought it up so we just ran with it...anyway we both agreed we were like 8.5s/9s and that we did a lateral movement in terms of appearance.

A couple weeks later, I saw her w/o makeup and was astounded. I couldn't describe in words to you how different she looked. Only a remnant of the same person

... and it wasn't good

Anyway, that makes me bring up the question, is makeup cheating? I mean, I guess I would rather them wear it over not wearing it but when I actually settle down I'm going to want a naturally beautiful women

Also remember so many of these girls have been destroying their faces for years with makeup that their skin actually looks disgusting underneath the layers upon layers of makeup they wear. So some of them might need it.

@ Protein is a legal assistance as I said. Yes it is a natural substance that our body needs for recovery but to get it in the form of a magical power (like make-up) hasn't sat well with me for a while. I used to use it but didn't feel any different. Just gave me gas. So I told myself to stop wasting $ and train like a caveman. Get my protein from real food. (Natural beauty)

I agree with Ruxxx, with us you get what you see. OD makeup is almost the equivalent of a 5'6" guy wearing elavator shoes making him appear to be taller.

but for the most part, most don't look THAT different.

DC...I think you speak the truth on a good amount of what you say...but protein is not cheating.

It is in a lot of foods we eat. Everyone consumes protein a day. So...if I eat a Low-fat chicken sandwich with a lot of protein...I am cheating?

Is eating Tuna cheating?

I eat chicken breasts that are 0.5 grams of fat.....32 grams of protein...

is that cheating?

But I would say if you take care of the skin underneath then no not at all, but since so many women forget to do that then yes I generally state it as "cheating".

- the broken down answer is, it depends on if they depend on the makeup. what i mean is makeup on occasion is fine. but if she thinks she has to have on makeup all the time, like for going to the grocery store or gas station....or just chillin around town thats just ridiculous. sad thing is there are a gang of females out there that are raised this way.
- beauty is beauty. if you need a ton of makeup to make yourself presentable to a mate its an extreme turnoff to me.
 
- this is the exact same logic i use when i say Megan Good is unattractive and dudes call me crazy. that broad isnt even 30 years old yet and looks like an older robin givens. its all that makeup and constant work to her face

All these things are to enhance our looks, it's not about being fake. Not everyone looks good or feels good the way they are naturally so they do these things to look presentable and feel good. I see no problem with changing something about yourself that you don't like. Why would you want to keep being unhappy with something, when you can just change it and be happy.
