For some reason no matter how much prep i do or if i use acetone, nail polish remover, or angelus leather prep and deglazer or whag finish i use, krylon matte or matte angelus, i always get verticle cracks on the heel of my jordan 11s ive customed. What am i doing wrong or need to do different?

    Do you have 2 soft?
I would try a 1:1 Ratio with Paint. Really thin Coats, but do more Coats than normal.

use a high grit sand paper scuff them lightly, paint will adhere better

Do you think you might need to add thinner layers of paint and may longer dry time? Also are you making vertical strokes?

Do you think when you sanded the shoe down that might have gotten scratch a little rougher.
