[me no pass]

my macbook is running really slow lately. anytime i click on a program it  

freezes up and i get that umbrella spinning thing 

. i usually have to wait like 5+

minutes for it to unfreeze and then it freezes again minutes later.

its a 08 alum macbook with 4 gigs memory and 25 gb free so i don't think its a  

memory or HD issue. anyone has a clue whats going on?

also whats a good anti virus or disk cleaner for mac?

im on snow leopard...4gbs is the max since its an older mb

Open activity monitor and check to see if you've got any page outs. If I had to guess I'd say it's a RAM issue
