Without saying if the team would consider changing its name, the Atlanta Braves issued a statement Saturday saying it "honors, supports, and values the Native American community. That will never change."

One of the best things ever was when Bomani Jones wore a “caucasians” shirt when I think he was a fill in host for mike & mike on espn2. People were calling in and mad. Saying why would he wear such a shirt and what if people wore a shirt with a “blacks” team name and a logo totally ignoring the one that actually exists for the indians. I think the show producers made him cover his shirt.
