Why are a few of the listings on ebay for itunes gift cards selling for above actual value? Its not like there sell out like hot cakes, not to mention you can use credit/debit on the itunes store. Am i missing something? For instance, I saw a $25 going to 28.50, 50 going for 65?

People have eBay bucks to spend. And no tax, if that sort of thing is taxed.

eBay bucks, and people from overseas who want stuff that's only on US iTunes really have no other alternative but to buy from eBay. With that in mind, why not juice em for a few bucks?

could it be apple purchasing them to check for theft of cards and other shady behavior?
I know starbucks always bids on its own ebay items (pumpkin sauce and frappuccino mix are each going for over $50 right now) so that they can monitor internal theft.
