iTunes + Sony VAIO: My damn library DISAPPEARS vol. Vince Carter

Hey fellas,

So basically my iTunes library disappears about every 3-4 days. I did some research on the Apple forums and they suggested to basically stop all the VAIO'services' except power management. I did this and after about 3-4 days my library disappears. I have all my files etc.. backed up, but uploading5000+ songs 2-3x a week is not cool.

Has anyone run into something similar to this? Any solutions or downloads from Sony? I end up having to plug my iPod to actually listen too music all thetime.

I had a NR Series Vaio when it first came out and 6 months later the motherboard blew.... Then 6 months after that (2days after my warranty expired)my HD gave out
