Didn't see a post on this. Saw it last night and I thought it was pretty good entertainment myself. I know people hate Tom for some reason but you get your moneys worth with his action films. I give it 4/5. No giant DiCaprio movie type twist just your typical Cruise action movie.

Just watched it last night. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

When the movie started though, I immediately thought to myself it kinda sucks for the movie because of all the recent bad press around mass shootings.

Not all the time, but he definitely plays that role often.

But watch Jerry McGuire and Vanilla Sky. They're both great movies.

I always picture him playing some sneaky spy type role like in Mission Impossible or Knight and Day. This movie he's playing a straight badass, whooping peoples ***** in like 5 on 1 fights. I find it kinda hard to believe seeing 50 year old, 5'7 Tom Cruise playing that kinda role Isn't the original character in the book supposed to be like 6'5 or something?

Just came back from it, thought it sucked. Tried to be a mixture of Die Hard and Bourne and failed. Action scenes are bland, Cruise is a know-it-all rouge cop, the plot is muddled, no real motive.

Just messy and all over the place, not worth spending $ on. From the looks of it though, they'll make it into a franchise at least two more films, unfortunately.
