Perhaps they did break them up too soon but I think they did it because they saw a huge star in JJ. Too bad his in-ring career is over.

it's pretty hard to disagree when WWE had Asuka beat Becky AND Charlotte in the 1st ever women's triple threat tlc match and then had Asuka TAP OUT Becky Lynch (who was so on fire that it almost wasn't a metaphor) at the Rumble the following month just to have her basically do nothing afterwards. And this is just Asuka. She's only one example of WWE's trash handlings to when it comes fumbling stars & storylines. She should be a household name.
