Not at all. He wrestled for an independent wrestling promotion in Japan well over 20 years ago.
I don't feel most WRESTLING fans in America even know who he is.
MANY non-wrestling fans watch this series.
So I would definitely disagree with that.

Yea, look at social media while these shows are on.
Many displaced wrestling fans tune in as well.
Many wrestling fans have their parents/wives/girls watching the show with them.
These stories transcend the sport.
