Gentry is no fool that's why he is still employed. If they retro every shoe in original form that kills the demand.So they build hype with the CDPs.
After 08 retros will be very hard to get according to Gentry to keep the demand high.
Since the demand is so high they choose to milk that cow dry with poor quality shoes/jumpman in place of Nike Air. Once the demand dies down some they pull thelast trick out of their sleeve. They re-release the same shoes that we have already purchased but with Nike Air on the back or icey soles etc. Be patient itWILL happen. The company knows that the public is starting to lose it's connection with MJ.
