JB Retirement

Very selective for me as well. Only get stuff I really want or look good to me and not every single release. My kids are in elementary school but some day they are gonna get married, or buy a house or what not and I think that'll be the time I hang it up and sell everything.

Give me one more black red 4, 6, 7, 9,11, playoff 12, low playoff 13 pe. Correctly please. Yeah Im not done at all.

Nope, but feel like I'm be a ideal candidate for Jordan resellers in the future. :smh:

I was out and then the BC3s brought me back in. I started to get hyped about releases again and started getting in that mood to build up my collection again.

I copped a few other releases but then I just lost interest. The BC3 is literally one of my favorite shoes of all time but I couldn’t get over some aspects of this version so I ended up getting rid of them.

There was a long period in my life when I enjoyed following sneaker culture and building a vast collection but it just doesn’t mean much to me anymore.

I get more joy in saving that 200 dollars, putting it towards an investment or spending it on something more meaningful to me in my life at the moment.

While it’s cool to have a big collection to choose from, let’s be real, we don’t have enough feet or time to really give our collections the proper wears they deserve.

I think it’s a mix of getting older, views/interests changing, JB not doing retros justice and the feeling of been there, done that when it comes to seeing certain models released over and over.

Not a JB shoe, but my leave the game shoe is the mags.

Haha so what you’re saying is you’re either leaving when you’re filthy rich and can drop thousands comfortably on a pair of Mags or you’re going to stay in the game for the rest of your life trying to get a pair at retail?

Well said as well. That's exactly how I feel. We have different priorities as we get older. Shoe games are changing. Im too old to keep up with the trend on how to buy shoes. Price point is also the main reason why I am more selective.
