Jeff Bagwell a future HOFer?

Had this conversation with my friend today, and we both agreed that he was a beast back in the day, but he wasn't so confident he would be a HOFer. on the other hand, i felt he had the offensive stats to be a legit contender. what do you guys think?
incredible to have an OPS over 1.000 to begin with, and in his case have it multiple times. 

also:

The best year in Bagwell's professional career was the strike-shortened 1994 season when he was unanimously named National League Most Valuable Player after batting .368 with 39home runs, 116 runs batted in and 104 runs scored, in just 400 at-bats.

But, for real though, he's a HOFer, when you mention the best big time run producers/HR hitters in the 90's Jeff Bagwell's name is near the top. I remember playing with the Killer B's on ASB 2000
