So I'm taking a plane in a few days and I always book Jetblue. I prefer Jetblue because of the Direct TV and the leg room.
However.
For the past few years everytime I check in my bags they put a red X on my ticket and I have to go through extended security. Now Jetblue is the only airlinesthat has done this to me. CONSISTENTLY at that.
I'm an American citizen I was born in this country. I've lived here all my life. Yes I'm Pakistani but I have rights. I don't even lookPakistani, the only telltale "Pakistani" feature about me is my name. How is it that Jetblue is the only airlines that consistently puts me throughthose extended security checks. It's not that much of an inconvenience but....
It's the principle of it all. It gets me heated as @#(# that I'm always singled out for all these years. Like I'm sort a danger or liability ofsome sort.
So is it profiling?
