instead of taking those accountin software classes (which are a waste imo.. accept for excel).. take real upper accounting classes 300-400 lvl.. get your certificate/24 units to let you sit for the CPA exam.  Take CPA and then profit.  24 units is only 1 year or a semester plus summer... goes by quick.

Finance degrees won't get you anywhere without experience.  with accounting.. there are plenty of entry level, in between, and experienced jobs everywhere.  that's my 2 cents.

plus your resume is gonna look like hot fire with all that.. even without the experience.  good luck one love.

okay then apply for 10 more.  5 aint nothing... try aiming for 20-30 applications a day.

apply to places even if they require experience.  most jobs are looking for 1-2 years experience... apply anyways and then ace the interview.

its a numbers game.  you apply for 100 jobs.. at least 1 will call back if not more.  that 1 job could change your life.

T-Mobile is Gravy, I was in school full time and worked about like 28-32 hrs a week there and made a little over 30k.

Just got fired from my old job, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, as a service agent (preparing cars to be rented such as cleaning inside and out etc.) just 3 weeks ago and look at me now

WASHINGTON (AP) — Investors seeking reason for optimism after the worst stock-market sell-off since the 2008 financial crisis probably won't find it in Friday's July jobs report.

Economists forecast that employers added only 90,000 jobs last month and that the unemployment rate was unchanged at 9.2 percent, according to a survey by FactSet.

That would mark an improvement over the 18,000 net jobs created in June — the fewest in nine months — and the 25,000 in May. But over time, 90,000 new jobs a month wouldn't even be enough to keep the unemployment rate from rising. Nor would it erase fears on Wall Street that the U.S. may be on the verge of another recession.

At least 125,000 jobs a month are needed to keep up with population growth. Twice as many are generally associated with significant declines in the unemployment rate, which has risen for three straight months.

Economists at Bank of America Merrill Lynch estimate there is a 35 percent chance of another recession within the next year.

Such fears and heightened concerns about Europe's debt crisis sent stock markets plummeting Thursday. The Dow Jones industrial average fell nearly 513 points, its biggest decline since Oct. 22, 2008.

Since July 21, the Dow has closed lower in nine of the last 10 trading days. All three major stock market indexes have fallen 10 percent or more from their previous highs.

The deal reached this week in Washington to raise the nation's borrowing limit failed to stem the selling. Though investors no longer worried that the U.S. government would default on its debt, a fresh batch of data showed that the economy was in worse shape than many had thought.

The economy grew at a meager 0.8 percent annual rate in the first six months of this year, the slowest pace since the recession officially ended. Manufacturers are barely growing. Service companies are growing at the weakest pace in a year and a half. Consumers cut spending in June for the first time in 20 months, and they saved more.

"There is a reassessment of the economic backdrop taking place right before our eyes," said Tom Porcelli, chief U.S. economist at RBC Capital Markets. He said the figures were a shock to investors, who are realizing that the economy is in worse shape than they had assumed.

High gas prices and scant wage increases have squeezed U.S. consumers this year. And consumer spending accounts for 70 percent of economic activity.

Businesses have responded by cutting hiring after a strong start in which they added an average of 215,000 jobs a month from February through April.

Michael Feroli, an economist at JPMorgan Chase, on Wednesday said he thinks the economy will grow at a meager 1.5 percent annual rate in the July-September period, down from an earlier estimate of 2.5 percent.

The economy needs to expand at an annual rate of at least 2.5 percent to keep the unemployment rate from rising. And growth would have to accelerate to 5 percent for a whole year to bring down the rate by 1 percentage point.

There was some modest good news Thursday. Weekly applications for unemployment benefits dipped to 400,000, the fewest in four months. The four-week average, a more reliable measure, fell for the fifth straight week, also to the lowest level since early April.

But economists said the drop comes too late for Friday's jobs report. Instead, it could signal some modest job gains in August.

you're putting down hooters on your resume? rethink that one... unless you were a manager or higher.

Put down inventory specialist and say you left because of school... and not because of the hours and travel.
