I'm listening right now; he'll be on in 30 minutes

I'll update this with notes from his interview after it concludes for the out of town Bulls fans

Paxson wasn't thinking about the lottery all day; he didn't even watch it.

Paxson found out about it when his son called him once they didn't get number 9

Paxson believes that the number 1 pick makes the Bulls job more attractive

Looking of a Head Coach that shares same philosophy about how to play the game

Paxson isn't regretful about how the Mike D situation played itself out. He doesn't apologize for askingquestion.

Paxson thinks acquiring a legit big man and point guard are the hardest to do in the league

Bulls were always planning for the number 9[sup]th[/sup] pick even before the draft

Silvy asks if Rose being from Chicago is a deterrent from selecting him overall 1 because of the added pressure. ie Eddy Curry

Paxson responds; No, he's not worried about an entourages or other off court issues that may arise from him playing before the homecrowd

Silvy askes Paxon; if he considered coaching next year

Paxson responded NO and he doesn't have a time table when a decision will be made

yeah I heard that.

he's on mulley and hanley on 670 the score right now.

If I were him, I'd want him to get a timetable set for a coach ASAP.

You want the coach to have a partial say in the draft matters because of that coaches philosophy. No sense drafting a player who wouldn't benefit from saidcoaches system.

Obviously with the #1 there's room to maneuver, Rose could work in most systems and it remains to be seen on an NBA type level which he would be bettersuited for.

If you're an up tempo team all of a sudden, does that help/hurt Beasley as a #1, etc.

I wanna start of by saying i am a huge bulls fan and I know im gonna get killed for this... BUT, trade the pick PLEASEEEEEE. This team does not need to begetting any younger! try to trade for a Dwade, Carmelo, Dirk... a superstar that can be available! Someone that can score in the those 3rd Qrts. when we put upbarely even 10 pts, or someone you can give the ball to at the end of games that can actually get a shot up without it being blocked.

The problem with trading the pick is, a superstar like that is going to put your team at a disadvantage against the cap.

You keep this pick and you move the pieces you need to move to clean cap and gain chemistry.

Mark Jackson would make for a interesting choice in coach because if they do go with Rose he'll have a head coach who played the position (and well too).

Also, in the East, its apparent it doesn't take much to get to the playoffs, which would be a step forward for this team....goal is to get better each yearand not blow it on one chance (read: Dallas).

Bulls might be able to trade for a superstar without trading the #1 overall pick. We have parts to exchange with a team looking to trade out one of theirstars.

+@!% if we can do that im all up for it! they can have everyone but Deng and Tyrus Thomas. I kind of have a feeling Kobe will opt out after next year andcome to chicago, ESPECIALLY if he wins another championship with the lake show.

see the problem with that becomes... is that all we are trying to do, "just make it to the playoffs in a weak east." I want to get to the finals!

We're young.

Patience we will get there

we can't trade this pick.. not with these 2 available. we'd be kicking ourselves for the next decade if we let this opportunity slide by.

pax def has to pull some kind of consolidation trade. it's just a matter of who and for whom.

Let the chips fall.....Rome wasn't built overnight. Rose/Beasley will be rooks.....playoffs will be fine, let them adjust and learn. Set yourself upfinancially for a run at things on a consistent basis is all I mean. You gotta have a realistic outlook as for the goals of the season.

^^ Dont get me wrong, if we can trade guys like gordon, nocioni, hughes AND in the process keep that pick, i would love it.

Hmm...didn't see/hear the interview, but from the snippets of it being relayed on here it seems he'd be more inclined to draft D. Rose at this point.

The Bulls and Heat are both in a win-win situation. I'd be ecstatic with either pick.

Kobe can opt out next year? can A.I. also opt out next year?

i doubt this will happen but lebron better give either one a good tail riding, to get them to come here lol chances are slim to none but what hurts in trying.

then you haven't been paying enough attention. i was all over the board during the 06-07 season.. .this year, the bar exam crept up on me this pastfebruary so i didn't exactly have time to be on here posting.

i don't feel like i have to qualify my "fanhood" with anybody on nt anyway.
