count me in bro!

i've thought about it a couple of times. it seemed like an experience, something to change things up and when i came out possibly have more focus/direction in life. i thought about it for a while though and 4/6 years seemed like a little too long, what happens if halfway through i change my mind? the thought of being stuck in it put me off. give it as much thought as possible, i wouldn't join but maybe you have better reasons.

Was close to joining the marines couple months ago..talked my self out of it. Its something you really got to sit down and think about hard.

dont join the army, no matter how much money they offer.
im an airforce vet. did 6yrs, worked as a contractor, now i go to school full time and get $2000 a month just to go to school, so ya, it worked out for me.
i would say rly look into the job u want, make sure your getting what you want and not what ur recruiter is telling you,

You need to talk to some people who are in and have experience in the branch that you want to join. people who are talking negative about it are mainly people that have never experienced it. i've been in the AF for almost 5 years and i have no regrets for joining. it was the best decision i ever made in life. it taught me some much about life and it made me a man, taught me responsibility and let me experience and see things that friends my age(22) would never see. hell half of them never left the city we grew up in.

...but i gotta say those 4 years was an experience i will never give up for anything ....seen and did alot of crazy dumb !@#!@

I remember back in April 02' walking in the recruiters office, and June 4 my self was in Basic Training for the USAF

I also remember seeing niketalk on the internets and thinking how gay it was back in 02'

I also think that you should SACK THE !%@! UP & JUST DO IT, but just do it in the USAF

Navy or Air force, pick a good MOS

My whole family is/was military my brother just retired from the navy and he loved it

May I ask why? You wanna go into the service, its not for everybody

go to the marine recruiter and say you want to be an 0311, its the coolest job in the marine corps

17 years old.. enlisted in the Air Force in April, just waiting in DEP for my job/ship date..

I was definitely thinking about it for about a year then I finally made progress and finally enlisted. Family and most friends support the decision.. honestly cannot wait.. I talk about it a lot because I'm excited..

I'm avoiding the military at all costs....but if you want money and a stable job and are OK with complete conformity, the military works.

I grew up as an Air Force kid...it's hard not having your mom or dad around because they're deployed in another country. Not to mention having to move around a lot.(in most cases you will).
