Finally got them. These and the Air Max BBs were the only pair I "needed". Can't believe I spent nearly double on the NG1s two years ago

I hope resellers realize these are kinda "bricky" in terms of aftermarket value and leave all subsequent releases alone.

They fit like other 1s for me. Only ones I ever had to get a different size are og lows

Echoing that they fit like other 1s. They feel different on foot than lost and founds, but I have both in 11.5 and they both fit well.

I’m not goin to lie and say these feel like OG highs.

They don’t.

Takes way more breaking in to get to a semi comfortable feel.

OG highs/LF’s are ok from jump.

Still, 85’s >>>>

The thicker cut of leather definitely takes more time to break in especially around the collar.

I'm starting to think these just aren't meant to be. Now it's "delayed" right by the eBay authentication facility. Makes no sense, I've never had any package go through so many hoops.

What was the problem with the fit? I heard people say they hurt around the toe box area when breaking them in.

Toebox and they didn’t feel as comfortable to me as the regular retro 1 high og

Same fit but the break-in time is quicker because the leather is a smidge less sturdy than neutrals.

Can't compare to previous 1s but true to all other 1s size is fine for me. I've given mine about 8 solid wears including yesterday, sparing y'all the pic since I posted in wdywt and regular 1 thread. They're slightly more snug on me in the forefoot, like where the bottom eyelets start by the toebox. But I have a wide foot and that's just a part of life. The insole is also much thicker than a regular 1 insole, worth it for the underfoot comfort though. With thinner socks I've had no discomfort at all.

Straight up grey, no. Something like a "faded" black, yes. In my opinion. Which is correct.

I'll keep stock black laces in until the tongue starts to yellow then i'll switch to white, these are much more comfortable than the NGs straight out of the box.
