Hello,

Could someone tell me if my pair of Jordan 1 women satin are legit? Here are a couple of pictures.

Please let me know if you would like more information or pictures about these shoes.
Get close up photos of the bottom soles, including the bottom logos. Take a clear close up photo of the text behind on the tongue. Take out the insoles and take a picture of the inside of the shoe. Taking better medial and lateral pictures of the shoes at eye level would also help. If there is stamp with a code inside the box then take a picture of it.
Where did you buy them? Any link to the seller?

These are authentic in my opinion.

Pair made in Vietnam usually have these characteristics:
- Label is at the bottom of the box
- Sole texture should be pebbled (not triangular like those made in China)
- The legs on the '®' on the bottom sole should be spread apart (pairs made in china should meet a a point)
- The loose strings on the inside of the shoe are glued down ( Pairs made in China are taped down)
- The front tongue tag is different, the most noticeable is the 'K' which has a smaller body and longer bottom legs then those made in China
- The back tongue tag uses a different font then those made in China
- Since these are from Taiwan it should say it on the box label, tongue tag, and the size tag
- The shoe trees are not as long in the sides compared to the recent shoe trees from China
- The logos on the shoe trees should be extruded out, and not extruded inward
- The stamp on the box is bigger font then those from China and it only consist of 8 digits
- The size sticker should be at the back on the insole (this does Not apply)
- The lace bag should be big, with a Jumpman in the center, and a red line at the opening (this doe Not apply)
- The pattern on the bottom soles on the left shoe is more vertical, while the one on the right shoe is more horizontal

This is a Women's pair, therefore they have some slight differences to men's sizes:
- They should not have size stickers since they are women sizes
- The holes on the toe box are smaller then those in Men sizes

Your pair has all the characteristics of an authentic pair made in Vietnam. The hour glass shape looks good. The swoosh shape looks correct to me. The tongue text looks like its the right font. I don't have this pair, but the satin, the leather and the wings logo all look good to me.

I appreciate your detailed opinion. Three questions: though: did you mean to say Vietnam instead of Taiwan? Also, does the smell of the shoes play any important role when identifying fakes/authentics? Finally, the serial number on the lid doesn't show the full numbers even though the top part of it is there. This is shown on the picture displaying the red serial numbers. Is this normal?

Yeah, I meant Vietnam.

The smell does not play any role when I authenticate sneakers because I am only limited to what I can see.Other people that do LC's in person can touch and smell the shoe, therefore the correct smell does play a role in their LCs. I don't believe these have the typical Jordan 1 smell since they are from Vietnam, the factory may use a different type of glue.

Yes, sometimes some numbers are faded and sometimes they stamp the box more then once to make it more visible.

Here is one of mine that’s a bit faded, stamped multiple times.
