I don’t think any retros use genuine patent leather. I would think Nike/JB would have to charge way over $200+ MSRP if they used the real stuff.

I swore i remember watching a vid on youtube that the mids with the high patent cuts use real patent leather I could be wrong though.

Yeah, rose anvil did the burn, cut, tensile strength test on the 11s, the patent leather is real leather. He did a test on the latest edition concords

Its real patent leather. My wife’s ferragamo patent leather also looking kinda cooked since its gained a few wrinkles

Mines came in today from Nike, crazy I hit and I really didn’t want them, I was just seeing if I would hit and then boom lol 10.5 Dey aight still debating if I want to sell or keep ……all star pennys got delivered right after I was more excited for those lol

Yeah its probably the packages shipped like that getting stolen the most
When your package is stolen you dont have anyway of knowing if it was shipped with the contents showing
All you know is your shoes didn't get delivered
These shoes are 20yrs late
Should have been released with a UNC mid a few years after they released the lows together

I’ve wanted these since those fakes were worn in the Nike town store in Beverly Hills at the time around 1998. Then forgot about em and they’re here now, the fakes had the same design as these when I saw em.
