My friend recently purchased these off if eBay a few days ago and feels like thy are fake. The insole says nike and not nike air and the tongue tag also doesn't seem like the right font. Any thoughts or input would be greatly appreciated. Horrible fakes. Pods aren't right color, browning instead of yellowing sole let alone no yellowing at all. Leather looks like crap, jordan logo looks like he has a broken back, carbon fiber looks weird as hell.

Tag says made in Chin.... Not China but chin. And weren't shoes back then made in Taiwan?

The 2000's were made in China. The last 11 that were made in Taiwan were the OGs I believe. The last jordan retro I know that were made in Taiwan were the original retro cool grey 9.
