Jordan 17/18 OG

I’m considering purchasing some OG pairs, are they still wearable for casual wear? Any advice will be appreciated

I DS pair would probably not be wearable. You risk either separation or cracking on the midsole.

Possibly a worn pair

I wouldn't buy anything from 2002 -03 ds to wear

They MIGHT be wearable but I would definitely not take that risk.

I own every OG colorway of the 17 and 18z I just broke em out a few weeks ago to wear. They held up perfectly. I don’t think you’d have any issues. If they were treated correctly by the seller.

My well worn OG white/red 17s cracked on me last year. I definitely wouldnt buy a pair with intent to wear them

18s are wearable with a reglue.

18 midsole will crack

The material on the 17 midsole are prone to become sticky. And plastic features on both are too brittle.

Wait for a retro

A retro 17 would probably be softer on the white leather anyway.

What they used on the OGs was trash.

I actually would really like a few pairs of OG 17’s. Especially the Carolina lows. Which aren’t getting retro’d Any time soon
