I was seeing the discussion around them and was puzzled why people liked them.

If JB dropped a eggplant 17 without the corny stuff like a cat on them people would be wondering what JB was doing.

Do you think they will ever bring back Nike ID for a flagship model? Is it costly to do this? Could you imagine being able to do it on a XVII, XXXX? They missed out not doing it on the XXXII.

does any other oldie here remember how the OG and CDP 17's were factory laced?

I recall they were not laced in any conventional way but i found out later that they were designed to look like to XVII roman numerals. Did i just dream that? I'm almost certain it is true.
