what do you look for in a 7 retro fake check? i purchased some bordeaux 7s from the classifieds recently and i'm waiting for them to arrive. i have a pair of charcoals and my friend has bord's i can compare them to but here's what confuses me:

the pieces that connect the toe box to the lace holes don't always line up from shoe to shoe, is this common? sometimes they go to the center of where the midsole meets the front toe guard, some it's completely connected to only the midsole and some it's way forward.

is this a point of interest to judge fake vs real with 7s?

yeah, iknow what you're talking about. i was wondering that too but i think it just varies from shoe to shoe. i bought some bordeaux from footlocker and on one shoe it is connected to the midsole and the other shoe it is connected to the toe guard. on my hare 7s it is in between. so idont think it is a good way to tell if they are fake
