Jordan Bred 1 Burned Tongue HELP

I have a pair of 2013 bred 1s that i planned to do a restoration on. i had to iron the tongue and as i did it the cloth i was using slipped and the iron melted the nylon slightly. There is now a about 1cm long and about 0.25cm wide. You can now see the padding in the tongue underneath the nylon. Any ideas to fix it.
