Yeah I was going to say the laces look a little too thick, the tongue’s look strange and the 3rd spacing tongue tag lettering should be stitched like this here. If you look at your stitching and then mine you can see how the authentic stitching is kind of wavy on the 2018’s. The sock liner where the number 45 is also has a very flat bottom where it’s typically a little more rounded than that. This pair I’ve posted pics of are from a authorized retail location.

This day and age fakes have gotten way better than I remember them being. Just recently came back to buying Jordans.

Sorry for the misinfo. They looked good to me late last night. That pl is way too thick on that pair also. I was focusing more on the ankle cut area. Seems like the fakes got that correct nowadays.

No problem. I didn’t even see your response until now! I see you helping a ton on here.

Here are some of my comparison pics. I want to start a real vs fake thread where we can collect a ton of comparisons. I want to explain every pic but for now I will share the pics. What forum do you think I should post a thread like that? fakes have so much variety so when I go search for real vs fake I’m often disappointed in what I find for results on websites. Some are just awful. Lmk what you think.

I’ve learned a lot about legit checking and one thing I’ve learned is you’re right, fakes are getting really good but I got to be honest, the hardest shoes from me personally to legit check have to be the Jordan 1 and the Yeezy 350 due to the fact that they are making them so extremely close to the real thing nowadays. You need to check all areas of the shoe because the companies that produce reps typically will miss at least one area and get it wrong. They’re always improving and getting better so just be careful who you purchase from. Sometimes it pays to just cough up more money to buy from a reputable source if you’re not able to buy for retail from an authorized retail location.

Yep I’ve heard about the 1s being the hardest to LC. Good thing I don’t wear em! Don’t wear Yeezys either.
