What makes the infrared colorway such a sought after color?

I think because it is a very rare color not used on any of the new Js or retros!

i think cus it started on a hot shoe to begin with...the name just stuck..they rarely used it on other jays moving forward

Lemme guess, you work with JB and someone sent you in here to ask that question...it only works with the VI's, the Infrared 1's were a bust, and whilewere on that you should go ahead and drop the Infrared VI's in the near future

JB should release the white/infrared, but make it in all patent leather! Yeah! Because what is possibly more awesome than putting patent leather all overeverything? The JB geniuses sure know how to do it.

I'm almost a little anxious about seeing JB release the Infrared VI any time soon only because of quality issues. Plus no "Nike Air". I wouldstill like to see them though. And to answer the man's question: Infrared VI's are

Hypebeasts, i had the og's growin up and the retros now but i can say the retros dont hold a torch to th og's. A Re retro would be a waste of timeunless they bring back the og materials which wont happen

. Nahseriously though, just look at it, it's an awesome shoe, it was the 1st of it's kind when it 1st dropped back in 1990 with it's eye poppingcolorway and
ground breaking technology. Plus he won his 1st chip in 'em. It's a classic. Nuff said!

6s in general are awesome.
Black/red shoes in general are very popular.
The only black/red 6 is the Infrareds.

Infrared is a bright red, when placed on a mostly black shoe it is very eye catching. Making this black/red shoe stand out among the others.

PS - 3thaman: is the first pic photoshopped or is that just my eyes getting weary?
